Opt Out and Data Removal

You can ask us to remove your phone number, email address or owner record from lookup results, to report a wrong litigator or blacklist match, or to exercise the rights your state gives you over your personal information. All of this is free and does not require an account.

How requests are handled

A request never changes anything on its own. It is logged for review. We verify that the number or address is really yours before acting, because anyone can type anyone else's number into a form, and we will not let one person have another person's record removed. Once we have looked at it, you will hear back at the email address you give below.

What we publish, and what we never publish

No page on this site that a search engine can index contains anyone's name, age, address, relatives or phone number. Personal records appear only inside an interactive lookup result, on screen, to the person who typed the number or email in. There are no profile pages, no per-number pages and no downloadable lists. Removing a record therefore means removing it from what a lookup can return; there is no public page to take down.

Remove a phone number or email from lookup results

Use the form above and tell us:

• the phone number or email address you want removed, exactly as it would be searched;
• whether you want the owner record removed as well as the number, or only the number (choose the matching request type);
• an email address we can reach you at.

We verify every request before acting on it. For an email address we will reply to that address; for a phone number we may ask you to confirm from the number itself. We do this so that one person cannot have someone else's record removed.

Correct a wrong litigator or blacklist match

Litigator and blacklist signals are matches against compliance datasets and court records. A match can be wrong: the number may have changed hands, a name may be common, or a source may be out of date. If you believe a number is flagged in error, choose Correct a wrong litigator or blacklist match above and, if you have it, tell us why you believe the match is wrong. We review the underlying source and either correct the record or explain what the match is based on.

Note that a litigator flag is a record match, not a determination about anyone. Our results describe it as a possible or confirmed match for that reason.

Your state privacy rights

If you live in California, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA. Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and a growing number of other states have similar rights under their own laws. Depending on your state these can include the right to:

• know what personal information we hold about you and where it came from;
• have that information deleted;
• correct inaccurate information;
• opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information;
• not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, choose Exercise my state privacy rights above, tell us which right you are exercising and which state you live in. An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf if they provide evidence of that authorisation. We will verify the request using the same method described above.

Confirmation
